Frederick D.: Every box tube of a specific outside and inside size is a little different. These were too tight so I used a small fine tooth saw to trim off one side of the fins. Good press fit with a small wood block and hammet to tap and seat the cap.

Frank Del Purgatorio: I guess what I read in some of the reviews was true. Great product but shipping department has to learn how to count to 20. I was shorted one also. Only received 19. I ordered a sample package of 4 first. They can count to 4 anyway. Then I ordered a 20 pack which only had 19. Disappointing!!!

Dawkman: This seems to work pretty well for me but I had to modify it to fit the square tubing that I had. The inner plug has fins on it and it was pretty easy to shave them down a the utility knife and it does seem to fit better than what I was replacing. I was using it to plug the open ends of the base of a welding curtain stand and some of the originals fell out and would never stay in and I didn't feel like gluing them. I had to shave this down to get it to fit but it was easy enough to do and it still seems to fit tighter than the other ones that came with the welding curtain stands. I think it's a bit pricey for molded plastic but it's what I needed and I want to keep moisture environments out of my welding curtain stand bases.
