Paul-TampaPaul-Tampa: I am a 35 year aluminum fabricator/welder. Have used this blade every day cutting sched 40 aluminum pipe, and flat stock to .5" thick. I have since cut 14, 24' sticks of pipe into 33-46" lengths, 2, 12' pieces of .25" x 4" flat bar into 6" pieces, 6 pieces of 1.25" sched 40 anodized, and numerous other large orders.

The photo included is just one week of work for one person. I have done two other projects equally as large with the same blade. In other words, this blade gets used a lot each day, and often times by other workers. The mill finish pipe alloy used is T5, which is hard on cutting tools because it likes to stick to and foul blades, while the 6061 anodized is less problematic.

As of this writing, the blade is still holding up well, and has not shown much wear yet. While not as sharp as the first day used, it has leveled off and is staying pretty consistently sharp without degrading noticeably. I've already gotten my money's worth from it, compared to the work it has done. I would put it up there with the Freud Diablo, so far.

I will buy another and will report when that is to see just how long this blade will go.

Sabayon Linux User: I have cut aluminum plate up to 0.250" with these blades, and bar stock 0.750 square. Really with minimum effort. Other blades made enough heat, that the aluminum would gall on the sides of the blade or pieces stick to the saw teeth. I did not have that problem with this blade as long as I did not feed too fast. They do gradually get dull. This is the second blade I have purchased. I cut a lot of aluminum plate, and need good accuracy, and edge quality.

JoeGage: I used this to cut aluminum baseboard approximately 1/8" thick. The blade was definitely up to the job even on angle cuts. There was absolutely no tearing or catching. It was like cutting through butter.
