Kindle Customer: Very very happy with my purchase. I have been getting into rock tumbling and alot of these rocks I can't get locally so biting online is a must. Not all the rocks in this mix are good to tumble but the ones that aren't are pretty as is. The size of the pieces you get is excellent as you loose a lot of mass in the tumbling process. Very happy

Chrissy Bee: The media could not be loaded.  I just started getting into the gemstone world and using them for metaphysical purposes. When I ordered this I was a little apprehensive because I had read reviews saying that these are just rocks and they're ugly, backyard rocks. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Admittedly, when you first open the package, it's pretty rough. There's a lot of dust on the rocks and things all look the same color. When you wash them... OMG THEY COME TO LIFE.
I got the most beautiful blue apatite I have ever seen, the chunks of septarian are still crystalline with the calcite.. the chunks of green opal are large and in charge. I did get more petrified wood than I would have liked but they are so pretty!
The most underwhelming part of these rocks were the jasper, but I'm also not much of a desert jasper fan. The green, yellow and red were very pretty though.
The amethyst was a little underwhelming in color, same with the rose quartz. Very pale but sizable chunks.
The amount of labradorite I received was amazing but it is ROUGH.
If you really want to clean these rocks up, get yourself some wetodry sandpaper (200,400,800,1000,2000 grit) and hand polish these babies...

Amazon Customer: my electric fire used to have black shiny coal nuggets which were too dark so I removed them and replaced with rose quarts and amythest mix nuggets and a small bowl with light coloured spheres in the middle. Looks great with the red light and flame effect warm and cosy on an evening.

at first look there are a lot of pieces broken off the raw stones and a lot of dust, I hope the bag isn't damaged

ALMOALMO: We have ordered these mixes in various weights, from different continents/countries (e.g. Madagascar Mix, South American Mix etc) and from the 3 major sellers on here as well as the lesser known and after several years and looking back at the photos I've decided to go back and write reviews or ammend certain ones- especially with the disappointing quality from some newer items ordered. We ordered the 3 pound "Rough South American Mix" more specifically it says mined out of Brazil. This order arrived fairly quickly with Prime and of course when boxed alone there were broken pieces but I'm not even adding those pictures because the green fuchsite dust and Jasper chips are far outweighed by the quality found within some of the outstanding pieces. I've added some pictures to show how these rough stones look when they arrive. EVERYONE should read descriptions and reviews to know when ordering this way, you shouldn't expect a batch of clean, perfect "neat crystals". If I saw that at these prices, I'd probably be concerned. I digress. The 1st, 3rd and 4th photos show different pieces from the same batch of material but I wanted to focus on the gorgeous green beryl- var. emerald- on black...
