George P. GeraniosGeorge P. Geranios: I used this to lock down the small volcanic rock that fills the slate in my landscaping.
The adjoining red mulch also needs to be locked or there will be an unfortunate
commingling. The fill also tends to wander because it's so light. Once locked down
it can be vacuumed or swept clean. This product does quite well for both and is a great
solution.

There are two downsides: for any significant area it ends up being expensive (I needed 2
full cans) and because it is quite thick my inexpensive sprayer had a hard time delivering
the exact spray pattern desired. On that note it is very important that you spray the WHOLE
can at once as it will set up in your sprayer and clog it. Wash your thoroughly after using as well.
Another problem is that over-prayed areas have turned white in the first rain after application.
This is a bit of a surprise since the install has had five days of good warm weather to set. It is
supposed to dry clear!

JWCJRJWCJR: So I purchased this product instead of a boarder around my rocks where they meet the concrete walk way. So far it has done its job and I am looking forward to the spring to reapply it. I used 2 coats and applied them about 24hrs apart (check the forecast). The rocks are 3-4 inch river rocks. Water runs off, no more weeds, and the grass clippings just blow right off.

HC: Used it on medium-sized mulch around trees. First I watered the mulch down and then used a tamper to press it in place. The next day I applied the glue with a pump-action backpack sprayer. Application went well once my spray tip was adjusted and so long as I kept the pump pressurized. I did 2 coats generously. BE ADVISED: if buying the 5 gallon size you will need to mix it with a paddle attachment on a drill (used for mixing paint or concrete). Filling your sprayer can be very messy. Using a funnel may not work due to small clumps within glue. You will spill some, so have a hose handy. Otherwise, easy clean up; just messy. Once dried, works amazing. I was able to drive my riding mower over the mulch and clean grass clippings with a leaf blower on medium-low without any issue all summer. Worth noting, all summer when wet our dark brown mulch looked a little purple. Super odd, but faded within 15 minutes once it dried. Unlike other reviewers, I haven’t tried this on large rocks because i’m not an idiot.

AW13: FANTASTIC PRODUCT! IT ACTUALLY WORKS.

I applied this to an area where I have decomposed granite (DG) to create a tropical/desert scene. I did this around September 2020. I felt I needed to do something as DG will spread its dust all over the place-even indoors. Also, erosion occurs due to slopes and rains. It is now July 2021 and the DG is still in tact, with a crusty top layer. The only place it broke down is where I broke it from a water spray or poking with garden tools.
I DID apply two layers on the flats and three layers on the slopes. I did this because I wanted to make sure it would hold for the winter rains. We actually had a light rainy season, so a true test would be if we will ever get a rainy season again here in Sacramento. Plus, I felt I had to use it up due to its short opened shelf life.
I am very pleased with its performance. A bit of advise would be not to apply it around trees and plants, as water rolls off this stuff.
Compared to other available products locally, the coverage of Landscape Loc Mulch & Rock Bond is around FIVE times better! (Meaning it goes much further than the others, which means much less expensive). And, according to the...

Kirstin Wascom CoxKirstin Wascom Cox: After much searching I found this product. Seemed like a really good deal as other products on the market were alot more expensive. Reading the reviews it seemed like most people were satisfied and the few who wernt must've gone something wrong. I cleaned my stone the day before to remove all loose dirt or sand from freshly laid pea gravel and allowed it to dry. I shook the can for several minutes and stirred it really well and coated the rock 3 TIMES with a garden sprayer and used all 5 gallons on my path way. I put our dogs in one of our fields and kept them there for 3 days. We had KO rain and NO sprinklers in those 3 days....no foot traffic period. It all seemed fairly hard and sturdy until today (6 days after application) after a light 15 minute rain. Now all the rocks are loose again and barely are held together. Basically wasted over a hundred bucks on something that lasted a few days after drying. I it's a bargain but it's not worth it if it doesnt work...and I'm not purchasing more to try and redo something that should be already hard.
