savvyshoppers: This is one of the first books I bought for our older son, who is now 52. I couldn't find his copy when his children were born, so I bought a new copy and have now passed that on to another sweet child. And I've continued to buy copies for children who are special to me. It's a counting book and just as beautiful and simple and perfect as you'd expect an Eric Carle book to be. Highly recommended.

Sandeep Shanbhogue: Very nice art, great story layout and the illustrations are top notch.
My kid never gets tired of this book with all the animals, train, zoos etc.

Tip: Look out for the mouse in each illustration. My daughter never fails to point it out to me!

Anthea Dalton: Wonderful bold illustrations. Lots to look for and count on each page. Eric Carle's familiar style never disappoints and, in a very simple way, totally engages toddlers.
