Amazon Customer: Built 6 cutting boards and 6 trivets that I finished with Walrus oil. Excellent look and it enhanced the walnut and cherry wood visual appeal.

simtso: This oil was used on a large butcher block which was never treated with oil. After applying the oil you will notice the beautiful waves of wood grain pop out. Another good feature about this oil is if you are using the block to carve or cut meats on it, the utensils you will be using will get lubricated when the edges of the utensils come in contact with the wooden block. This is a product that you will have to apply multiple times. It will add years to the life of your cutting board.

Allen K: A complete product in one container. Don’t just use flaxseed oil. This us what you need.

Michele D Gauthier: For the price, I just expected more. Absorbs nicely but just doesn't seem to last

CarbonMan: I have traditionally used mineral oil on custom cutting boards but had to reapply often.
This product lasts longer between applications and repels moisture much better. I've cut my applications in half, improved the surface finish, and have better moisture protection.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: First timer! I cannot say enough good things about this product! I have only had it on our new white acacia butcher block countertops for about a month(whole kitchen reno), but we are super pleased with the results and durability so far. A lot goes along way! We had a fair bit of square footage to cover, and even after applying 4 coats (with ample dry time) I still have a 1/3 of the jug left. I sanded in between coats for a smooth finish (200, 400, & 600) and finished it with the Walrus wood wax for extra protection. We absolutely LOVE the natural colors this oil brought out in our countertops. The purple hues just pop! And it really darkened the cut edges, making them look rustic. Very easy to use, and highly recommend! First two pics are before the oil and wax, the rest are the finished product :)

Mark Frank: Easy to use and seals my cutting board counter tops quickly and efficiently. Love it far better than the waxes.
