Redned: Absolutely brilliant book - I initially borrowed this book from a colleague but bought my own so I could highlight and write notes on. There are great ideas in this book to support retrieval practice, collaborative learning and enrich AfL. Have now ordered and read the second book.

Nathan McGurl: When my son was coming up to GCSEs I was keen to find out more about how to practically help. And this book was a real turning point. A great summary of academic research turned into practical ideas. It might be specifically aimed at teachers, but there is a lot that homeschooling - or even, like me, interested - parents can get out of it.
