JKU: This is the second Puppia harness I’ve purchased, after my puppy outgrew his first one. It’s soft and seems comfortable for my dog, and even though it’s made from lightweight materials, it is very sturdy. It looks great on him and works very well.

This particular design is especially nice as it has both Velcro and a clasp at the attachment points on the neck. It’s really easy to put on and take off (especially if your dog doesn’t like the over-the-head experience), and it’s easily adjustable in small increments, which is great if your dog isn’t quite finished growing.

Lp: I love this harness. It's hard to find a harness for a pug but this one is perfect. It is adjustable to allow room for growth. I purchased a medium when he was 5 months old and about 12 lbs. Now that he's 7 months old and 16 lbs, I purchased a large as a back up. The medium still fits and the large fits when adjusted to the smallest but still a little bulky for him. You will want a back up so you can wash them... they tend to get stinky. I think the large will be perfect when he reaches full size and will probably get another one of this same style and brand.

Callie Critturs: I have used Puppia harnesses For years on my cavalier King Charles because they can have neck issues, but that dog is not at all a puller!

My newest dog is a little 10 pound chi/terrier mix. He can really wriggle out of a harness in a heartbeat and with other harnesses he often gets his leg caught in part of the harness. THIS FITS PERFECTLY!! It tightens Well enough so that his leg doesn’t get caught and yet it’s comfortable for him to wear!

Most training classes at this point Are requiring either a gentle leader (which I can’t keep on his nose) or a harness with the ring in the front. But he’s small! And by the time you attach a leash clip on the front of a harness on a 10 pound dog, The weight of the leash clip Makes it hang down so when the dog doesn’t pull They step on the front of the leash! Twice he actually got hurt stepping on the leash clip. The rest of the small harnesses that I found all buckle or clip right on top of the spine, and my holistic vet strongly disapproved because she says long-term a buckle that lies right on top of A vertebrae like that Can contribute to premature arthritis or spondylosis.

I am completely thrilled with this...

Momof3Divas: My 4 month old pup completely slipped out of this harness on our first walk. Thankfully we were not in a high traffic area and I was able to grab her. She was between a Med and Large so I made the mistake and got large. It needs to fit.
I was going to exchange it but figured out how to overlap the Velcro behind the neck so it fits snug.
