Petphabet Dog Pad Holder | Mesh Training Tray for Floor Protection

MilliePMillieP: I got this pad holder because my Cockapoo goes potty in/outside the house. This one is bigger, which is what I wanted. The grate is higher so no pee gets on his paws and he can walk off without my having to dry him off first. The down side is because it is sort of 2-sided and locks together in the middle, pee sometimes seeps through the joining and causes a mess underneath the pad holder. So now I have to place a wee wee pad underneath the pad holder as well. Using a more wee wee pads is more expensive. I decided to purchase carbon wee wee pads to help alleviate the cost.

FreesiaFreesia: If your dog is new to pads I suggest you get the dog to use the pad on its own first, then place a used pad on top of this unit, do this for a little while till the dog is confident going on it before you put the pad inside the grate. If that doesn't work, use a scent spray on top of the pad over the grate. Last resort and that does work most time, get another same sex dog to pee on it or get a sample of the urine say on a kleenex (sponge some from the ground) and put it in the grate. The dog will want to pee over it, it's a territory marking and it will work. Dog parks are good to get a sample, ask politely not to look creepy lol.

The price is too high on this, $85 for two plastic pieces that's not fit well. The bottom part has a line where the plastic attaches and you can see through it! Best you place cling wrap (or a plastic such as an unfolded garbage bag) at the bottom under the pad. If it over flows it will leak onto your floor in the middle crack if no other protection is added. Great concept but the price should be 1/3 really for this.

Update: I now use this indoor with a pee pad charcoal from Amazon with a cat litter called Catit (bought here on Amazon)...

NDG: I purchased one but my pup was afraid of it. He wouldn't even go near it. I would guess it is fine but I couldn't use it for my pup.

Johanie: I use this for both pee pads and dog litter. My dog is a havanese poodle mix around 10 pounds.
I decided to go for a bigger plate so when he does his circles he doesn't miss and he is taller now so needs the space.
I have bought over 10 of these. This is the best one. Especially if you are using flushable litter because you are lazy like me (he cant eat the litter through the grate or kick it around) the grate has enough space after the litter for it clump properly.
Not too high off the ground if you have a lazy pup like i do.
The plates are hard to snap together until you realize half snaps the opposite way after that you are set. There were no instructions in my box.
I love the color no bright stains especially when used with charcoal pee pads because the grate is dark in color.
I live in a studio this is big enough without taking up all the space.
I dont write reviews but i spent too much money trying to find the perfect puppy potty. This is the one.

Cherry: Product came fast and as advertised! It is sturdy and big enough...perfect for our Baby Bruce (Belgian Malinois-Cane Corso) who is now 6 months old. Plenty of space left to do his business when he gets bigger and bigger.

It is a saver for the family during times of emergencies....of course walking and doing it outside is always best but this comes handy for those times of emergencies. No more eating his pad or stepping on wet pee.

I highly recommend product and seller!

Rebekah WarnockRebekah Warnock: We're fostering 10 puppies, and let me tell ya, they are little excrement machines. They also love to move the pee pads around and rip them up, clearly trying to break me mentally but my pride won't allow it.

I bought a single one of these trays to try it out, and I am very pleased! I will definitely be ordering a couple more!

Pros:
1. These are 10 large-breed puppies, and they have had 0 luck trying to remove the pee pad from inside the tray. Chewing on the tray has also not caused any damage.
2. The puppies definitely still do their business on the pee pad that's in the holder. They have no preference between peeing on pee pads inside the tray or outside the tray.
3. They also do not mind walking on the grate over the pee pad or even sleeping on it sometimes. I was worried they'd hate walking on it, and I'd essentially be reducing the area they have in their pen by buying these holders. Glad to find that concern was unfounded, at least for this bunch of pups.
3. The pups' pen is staying cleaner! Their filth stays inside the grate, as intended, and isn't tracked all over the place. A little gross, but it helps with pee AND poop. I don't know if their...

turtlekb: Love this, I’m able to put the pad u see the top grid. This prevents anything from being tracked off the pad.
Saves using a new pad every time they use it.
Best purchase I’ve ever made for my puppy.
