.Reviewer123: I used to buy a smaller sea kelp product that cost around $25 per month (with two kitties) for a tiny bottle. That was getting expensive so I found this product that has significantly more sea kelp! The cats only need a tiny scoop added to their food (like 1/8th scoop) once per day. This product will last me about 18 months with two cats. You really cant beat that value for the price.

SG: Taste was a challenge to mask for cats even with using really palatable wet food and other things. Stopped using it after a while as could not tell if there was any benefits, especially with their teeth where it should have been obvious.

Calvin L.: My beagle has been on a raw diet since he was 3 months old. The trainer recommended that I half a teaspoon of kelp in his food to provide the amino acids and other nutrients that he needs. It also helps improve their oral health.

Austin & Shelby K: So glad I got this for my dogs. Our 8 year old boxer has been loosing hair like crazy for the past several moths. The vet said it was seasonal canine flank alopecia or possibly his low thyroid levels that could be causing the hair loss. I did a lot of research and at first I tried melatonin treats for hair loss (Not the sleepy kind) and they didn't really do much for the hair loss. I decided to give this a try. I started giving him a teaspoon on his 1 cup of food twice a day just 4 days ago and I can tell a difference in the texture of his coat already and I'm eager to see if his hair is going to come back in those spots. I also have a 2 year old shepherd lab mix who started to have some stinky breath so I gave her some too, because why not, and it has helped! Ill try and remember to post a update in a week or two. Lydia D. Pellecer: Our dog had a persistent mole that grew right on the bottom lid of his eyelid. We had already taken him to the vet to get the pricing for the surgery as it had grown so large so quickly that it was bothering him noticeably. We already had the appointment set when I started giving our dog this supplement in his food, mainly because of our two new kittens that were eating a raw diet (like our dog but different ingredients) and since they don't eat greens and yams like our dog we started adding the kelp to their food. A good source of Taurine!! So after about a week of adding the kelp to our dog's food at each meal we noticed his large mole start to shrink!! We couldn't believe it at first but after 3 weeks it was literally GONE!! That is the only change we had made to his diet so it had to have helped remove the mole. I have been unemployed for 5 months and decided it was too much to buy the kelp for a bit and we ran out over two months ago. Now he has a cyst on the base of his tail that is growing....we are ordering more today in hopes that his cyst too will clear up before we have to take him in for removal. Amazon Customer: My cur dog is 9yrs old. He has been my running partner since he was old enough to keep up but in the past year he started losing his enthusiasm about our runs, chasing squirrels, and playing with his ball.
