Joseph Wagner: I lost my military issue poncho so I ordered this as a replacement. The only con is that it is foreign made so of course it doesn't have an NSN number and I will still need to go to the surplus store to avoid a statement of charges one day when I get out... Now for the pros for the actual poncho. The quality is outstanding, it has the rubber coating on the interior of the ripstop so it is truly waterproof, not army waterproof, where you still actually feel moisture on the inside. I used this to cover my rucksack out in the field for the last three weeks as well as for a shelter the first night before I got my tent set up and it kept everything bone dry throughout many thunderstorms! Yes it does take a couple weeks to ship to you from Germany. Excellent quality, highly recommend!

Hansonb4: Product looks real good; the only reason why I didn't give it 5 is because I have not worn it in the rain. Seems large enough to cover my backpack as well. Grommets seem solid. I am north of 41 degrees latitude, so other than sub-zero temps, this will definitely help keep me warm in a make-shift sleeping bag as it is plenty wide and long. The poncho is my outer-shell, a mylar blanket inside of that, followed by a matching-sized poncho liner. Go to Hobby Lobby and buy a bag of miniature corks (like wine bottle ones but smaller, about 10). Push enough of the mylar through the grommets, stick a cork on the outer-side of the poncho, then run the laces of the poncho liner through the grommets as well, then tie them around each cork that is covered in mylar. You now have a three-layer sleep system, with the corks and laces tied around them keeping your three-layer bivy sack together. Just make sure that you don't sweat too much in it as the mylar acts as a vapor barrier. Then you are in trouble in a cold environment.
My only complaint about this product is that it is for my GHB. As I work in a large urban environment, in some sort of emergency walking around with a camo poncho...

David jones: The product it self is a nice fit, gives full body protection from the weather and has plenty of holes to put attachment to it so you can pitch it up as a tent which is what you would expect from a ponch. But i must say i was not happy with this service due to the material having two puncture holes in it, they are not that bit but they can be very irritating when you have set it up to and you have the light breaking through reminding you that there is a passage for rain to make it in.
I'm not to sure if this is a manufacture fault or delivery damage but for those thinking of buying this poncho please inspect carefully when your receive.
Giving this a 3 star, could have been 5 if it was not for the damages.

Mark S.: This is the exact size stated in the description. I don't know how that would work with a liner because it's a few inches smaller in one direction and a few inches longer in the other than most ponchos. This won't affect me though.
It's nice and thick and well stitched, which makes it heavier than most ponchos. Not a problem for me.
The snaps in the photos are some sort of plastic ones, but it came with typical metal ones. That's good.
The hood is a great fit and isn't too small or big or 'in the wrong place' as some hooded items can be.
I dig it. Very happy.

Foodie: Product shipped from Ireland, but took only 10 days to get here (much earlier than promised, and well worth the wait.)
I'd been shopping around for a while, and this one is 100% better than anything else I saw. The seams at the neck are fully sealed, and I'm sure it is 100% waterproof. Perfect size, with a nice big hood. It included many draw strings and laces at the grommets that are well made, but appear to be cotton or another soft material. I may upgrade the laces to paracord, but it was still nice to have the cotton ones included so that it is ready to use as is.
The digi camo is good looking, and the coated nylon is plenty tough. It bundles down to a 6" x 6" x2" stuff sack which is included.
I'm very, very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended product and seller (camooutdoor)

EM: Bought this for backpacking.
It is a few ounces heavier than some of the (much) more expensive alternatives; but there is some advantages to this. I expect that this item will stand up to heavy use much better than the flyweight versions that cost 2-3 times as much. An added bonus is that this poncho is designed to snap together with a second to form a rather large shelter.
Just for sizing purposes, I am 5' 8" and about 160 lbs., when wearing this poncho, it comes to about mid-calf. I've not had a pack on underneath it yet and it may prove just a bit short but overall I am very satisfied and may even order a second.
Oh, one last thing, shipping from Dublin to Nashville took roughly a week, pretty quick in my opinion.
Cheers

Amazon Customer: It that item that makes life so much easier. It folds up small to fit in a ruck sack and is ideal for those how are going for a day out and may need that extra protection from the elements. As a keen photographer and aviation enthusiast (it great for Air-displays, s it not only covers you but the chair and camera kit), saving the need to carry a large golfing style umbrella.
For this reason its kept in a small ruck-sack along the the waterproof trousers in the boot of the car so I cant forget to take it.
