TommyB: My family always used Lipton loose leaf when I was young. It's a very nostalgic thing and when done right for iced tea beats a teabag every time. It's gotten almost impossible to find; my local store quit carrying it, then Walmart dropped it and it comes and goes here at Amazon (mostly goes and not even available from 3rd party sellers). My brewing technique is 2 Anchor Hocking quart measuring cups and a strainer. Boil water in microwave in one cup while putting tea in other. Pour boiling water into cup with tea, do NOT stir or anything, let sit for ~12 min. Pour through strainer into the cup water was boiled in, remove strainer quickly, don't "linger drip" and DON'T push/squeeze any additional liquid from the leaves. After it cools I serve over ice with squeeze of lemon and just enough sweetener to keep it from being bitter and it's the most enjoyable refreshing thing for our hot humid summers.

M Taylor: I buy a lot of tea directly from China an this takes a long time to get. Lipton tea is my daily go to tea that I enjoy very much. Price point is reasonable and has foil bag inside the box. Stays fresh which allows me to buy 6 or so at a time, enjoy.

Maurizio: The black tea is very good for you, but the box just exploded in the opening, which is very unfortunate.
I did not want to return it to AMAZON or ask for a refund but I was simply not pleased...

Dacia: The tea is powder, so not suitable for infusion. You are better off buying any old tea bags. Honestly I can't remember ever having had a worse cup of tea.

JMK: I purchased this to try in my Keurig to make brewed tea. Up until now, I've been purchasing the cold brew family sized tea bags to make iced tea. This is one box, & the loose tea leaves come in a silver bag. The bag is not resealable, so once I opened it, I put it into a plastic storage container to keep it fresh. Expiration for the one I received is Oct 2020 so plenty of time to use. It came out okay in the Keurig. The taste was slightly different than the cold brew, & it probably depends on how strong you brew it (large setting on Keurig). I also tried it as hot tea, & it was good with a little sugar. That is probably how I will use this box, & stick to the cold brew larger bags because they're easier to make one gallon at a time. One other thing I noticed is I had to use a spoon to get the tea leaves out of the reusable K cup. The tea leaves tended to stick in the cups more than coffee does. Overall though, Lipton is still one of my favorite teas, & I will purchase this box again.

Amanda R.: Fair warning: I am picky about my teas. It's not just the taste or the smell (which are important!) but also how small the particles are and how much 'silt' as at the bottom of your cup after you make it. This tea is one of my 'staples', I use it a lot because I think you get a good product for a really good price but it's not what I would pick if I wanted to make something special. It makes a solid, consistent cup whether hot or iced, and I like that I can really control how much I'm using because it's loose leaf.
This next bit is a bit technical, and hard for me to describe so bear with me. Loose leaf tea means no 'sack' that the tea comes in, so if you use a metal or plastic strainer you are probably going to find some tea particles floating around or sitting at the bottom of your cup. Generally speaking, the nicer the tea the bigger the majority of the 'leaves' are and therefore the fewer particles found in your tea. Crappy, cheap tea tends to be mostly powder. For some reason, this tea straddles right down the middle. The largest particles are as big as you would find in a really fine tea (think Teavana) but there is more 'silt' (powdery particles) that I would...
