Todd Turner: Injected. Brisket I smoked for Thanksgiving following the directions. Came out juicy and tasty without being too salty. Will be buying more.

Definitely added smoke flavor, but also added a slalty flavor.
Would not recommend mixing with broth since this also has high slat.
Will try agin with water to see if I can keep the smoke flavor and lose the salt flavor

Bryan: This was the first time I've ever used an injection in a brisket. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I'm completely sold on this now. I did 1/3 cup of the reserve blend and a tablespoon of the moisture magic and it exceeded every expection I had. I typically buy prime brisket, but I wasnt about to pay over $100 for a brisket. My local Walmart had them and I picked up a choice brisket instead. I injected it the night before and it turned about amazing. The meat was incredibly tender, packed with flavor and unbelievably moist. It was so good that my wife told me to only do this when I make brisket.

I was curious when I came across this product as to exactly what it would do to my meats. Flavor, Texture and moisture was what was advertised and what I found in doing further research before I purchased. That said I picked up a batch and I'm very happy I did.
First run with it wasn't as evident with the slabs of ribs I did. Much the same way I used it the second run I used as directed measurement wise and mixed it with rub. I just didn't get the ribs as saturated with my mixture as I would have liked...but hey..part of learning.
Second run as my co-workers put it was "Money". This use was in a injection into 20 lbs of pork butt. We all know it's not just the injection that produces award winning BBQ but all the other elements...but I tell ya that this added something that my long and slow cooks were missing and that was the moisture with out having a water pan in the smoker.
Injected with product and rub and let sit 24 hours. Pulled from fridge and patted dry and let get to ambient to the touch (still cold if you held your hand there long) applied rub liberally and put on smoker at 7pm. Used oak and hickory chunks soaked in hot...
