Get your hands on the highest quality almonds today from Kirkland Signature!markbirn: The first thing I noticed was the big bag and how many almonds I was getting. Also saw that they were Kirkland, the brand from Costco, even thought I don't go to Costco, I've seen enough in peoples homes to know the brand. So I thought, I think I got these for as good a price as I could have in one of the stores, and I didn't even have to leave the house. I think the quality is excellent and I'm having a handful a day, heard that was a way to maintain health and regulate weight. I hadn't weighed myself in maybe 8 years and so over Christmas stepped on a scale and saw that I was still at my college weight and I graduated many, many years ago. I will give the almonds some credit and buy more of these same ones when I finish the bag. Delivered to the door for such a great price.

real review: well what else can I say about almonds?! maybe give you some ideas... if you break them up in a blender you can pour over your yogurt in the morning + berries and you are all set! or yogurt + almonds + honey. also used them in my oatmeal (generally anything that I want more of a crunchy texture to it). they are very filling! i carry them in a ziplog in my bag constantly and eat them at work between meals or whenever I am outside, starving and want to avoid having that chocolate croissant/pasta/burger... you get the picture... they do have some calories though! so be warned, you cant eat a full bag of these in one go.

I'm originally from California and used to go to Costco all the time for these almonds. I'm a big fan of natural almonds, and since there aren't any Costcos here in the midwest (not where I am, trust me I've searched both physically and digitally) I haven't been able to afford to either search for or buy natural almonds in bulk.
So you can imagine, when Amazon decided to add the Kirkland almonds to its Prime Shipping repertoire, I was very exited. The almonds were great, almost as fresh as they are in California. Kirkland has great quality control and I've never been disappointed with any of their products. Til I move back (I will, eventually), I'll be ordering this bag from time to time, as long as my income allows it. Highly recommended. Friends love it. The ladies love 'em too.

These are very tasty fresh almonds. The quality is very nice. The price is good too. However, if you do not eat almonds quickly then this bag may be too big for you and they may go bad before you finish them all.
I found just as good almonds for slightly cheaper at my Trader Joe's. 1lb for $5 instead of 3lb for $18. This is also nice because I don't have to eat them as fast before they go bad.

Taylor ShmaylorTaylor Shmaylor: I made almond flour and almond butter with these!! I had to crop the picture so excuse the odd angle, but I made a few other things that day and had them in the frame and I wanted to just let you see the almond flour on the left and the almond butter on the right.
Both turned out great.
I sifted the almond flour to get a very very fine texture, and then just kept putting the more rough meal back into the blender. Eventually, it got warmed up which released the oils and I just let it turn into almond butter. I use both for baking and love snacking on nut butters and making chocolate cups with them.
Almonds are pretty indispensable for a paleo, low carb and/or keto lifestyle, and that fits me perfectly! Getting this bag was cheaper than buying both almond butter and almond flour separately.
I can make them exactly how I want, use my own salts/sweeteners if I want and I have the plain almonds to roast, toast or include in recipes. 3-for-1 in my house!
