Vincent: Pros: They are well designed for filling, having a funnel shaped tube that can be extended, sealed -off with Velcro, and tucked away. The top of the front bag is topped with a smooth, velour like material to facilitate smooth sliding of a gun stock. The bags attach together with clips for ease of transport for field work, like setting up on the hood of your vehicle to adjust your sights on a shooting trip.
Cons: They are not suitable for precision shooting or sighting in at ranges over 50 to100 yards, depending on your gun sights and caliber. For those applications, you will need to invest in a rigid frame, adjustable shooting rest system that costs considerably more money, especially for competitive match shooting. I rated the rest 5 stars overall based on the fact that these bags are not even intended for precision shooting.
Unknowns: I've only use the bags a few times now, so am not sure about how durable and sturdy they will be in the long run. I rated the rest 5 stars for these features based on the fact that these bags appear to be rugged, and that I will amend this review to downgrade them if they don't hold-up well for the typical range uses I...

Slomo: This comes empty, so it's just a canvas bag. You have to fill it and I expected that. The problem I have, and the reason I rated it only 4 stars is because of the difficulty of filling it with sand. There are baffles internally to the bag that require you to constantly shake the living hell out of it. The small bag is nearly impossible and has to be "coaxed". But... it's cheap, and it's sturdy. As long as you know what you're getting and you're willing to put in the time, you'll be fine.

HooligunHooligun: Great set. Love how much rice I was able to stuff in there it really made it heavy and solid.

The inside the small bag it has some flow restricters in the ears that keep the fill from flowing back down. When filling you have to keep stuffing the filling in the holes as it fills or those spaces will have a big void after I filled it I had to re do that to make sure the whole thing filled up but after that it was very impressive. The stiching was not the best but I STUFFED it and it is still holding up with no issues. One of those great Amazon scores

tunners12: You get what you pay for, a significant lack of integrity from the side walls provide a plump, sad sack of diminishing dreams. After messing around with them turning them on end to try get a bag to hold its shape I finally got it to maintain its posture. Definitely worth the few dollars it cost, in comparison to the highstreet brands it's a steal.

IsNullOrEmptyIsNullOrEmpty: Initial thoughts before filling is that the material is durable and the stitching is straight. Used 5 pounds of sushi rice to fill both bags to the max. I mainly wanted to use the big bag as a rear bag, with the bipod in front, but when I zeroed the scope I used the rear bag, with the bipod removed, and was able to get consistent placement and fine micro adjustments with moving the rear bag foreward and back. Had to make sure the front bag was not too far foreward so the recoil didnt bounce the stock and make the shot high. Filled to the max, I am able to get a nice groove for the rifle. I am also able to place the bipod on top of the bag in order to shoot at a greater height with comfort and ease. The surface remains level and the bipod sticks in nicely enabling it to be preloaded for a stable shot.

Initially I was skeptical about the closing system, which is simply a velcro seal, but once the filler is velcro closed, you fold it over and under a strap and, once the weight of the bag is placed on it, it appears to be a very tight and sturdy seal. You can attach the bags together and carry them around together easily. I really like how I can also use the...
