Give some idea as to what you need size of your farm and location you may want to keep it in.
Would say give it read and I will help you get started with your worm farm startup.
Think of it as a small price for a large amount of useful information.

Robert Lewter: I have been bothered lately about the scarceity of earthworms in my range. When I was young they were in every scoop of soil. This book gave instructions, great instructions on how to grow my own. It's a pretty impressive manual.

Victor Lage de Araujo: This is an interesting book for anyone who enjoys gardening and recycling to read. It will add to any information you already have if you either want to use compost or start your own domestic vermicomposting recycling unit. The author provides his personal experience plus some useful tips. Not the high technical though, you will need more information if you are a comercial producer or wish to perform QA on your product.

EJ: Very informative. I have read several short books on the subject now, and this is definitely one of the better ones. Author believes strongly in the benefits and arguably justifies those beliefs. The world would be a better place if more people did worm composting (vermiculture)

Defrid Theoret: Henry has covered everything in this book on vermicomposting !
This is the second time around that i read this book. I use it as referance and go back and look thru for something i recall in the book.

Cacey Kennedy: I'm really glad there's a quick bare bones book on vermiculture that I could read faster than the average movie.

If you are interested in composting with worms but have no idea where to start, this is a cheap way to find out some basics.

It is repetitive in parts though, as in whole parts repeated verbatim. Yes, the information could be reviewed but I felt like it was to up the word count, or you could tell that the writers & editors couldn't be bothered with writing something new properly because they were in such a race to have a "brief book on worm poop."

If you are looking to build your own worm composting box, this is not the book to learn how much from.

It bothered me a bit that he didn't talk about how to find reputable sources for worms, and instead just threw in a link to something. This happens several times.

Overall though, for a few bucks & an hour of your time, you will get a basic rundown about vermiculture, though you may want to read up on something with some more specifics first, or see if there is some urban gardening going on in your area.

Or, really, though this is not the book I would choose to inspire it, Go...

Janet Zupan: How to Start a Worm Bin is well-written and accessible. With Henry Owen’s clear guidance, I set up a good bin in the best location and filled it with the proper mix of bedding. I was then able to quickly identify a reputable place to buy my first batch of red wigglers. Once my worms arrived, the book helped me detect the signs of over-feeding; how to maintain a balanced moisture level; and, offered specific and comprehensive tips for regular maintenance to ensure a healthy wormery. The appendices are organized for quick reference, including a FAQ section and trouble-shooting chart. My wormery is thriving! The section “Worm Composting for Kids” inspired me to invite my granddaughter to share in the experience and to gain her first scientific and ecological insights. An added bonus is the author's generosity in providing ongoing electronic links and information to those who buy the book.

I highly recommend this guide to those interested in a responsible and fascinating route to making a positive, environmental impact and achieving nutrient-rich compost to boot.
