Claire B.: It is where it all begins.. what you do with it is up to your imagination as a parent, how do you suggest your child to use it.
You can simply ask them to construct sentences or you can go way beyond and above that.
This can be random game of matching words starting with the same letter, it can be finding
words that rhyme, or have the same number of syllables.
You can improve their spelling and building different sentences from words of
the sentence or sentences they start with.
Truly opportunities for learning are endless!
I love the set fort he sturdiness and simplicity.
It is not complicated and that is why it can be used in so many different ways.
Easy to clean by throwing back into the box for the next time.
One of the best tools to help a child to learn to read, spell, and write because this is where it all really leads.. great writing skills.

Vincent ALLARD: My 5 year old student thoroughly enjoyed playing this game for the first time, she laughed a lot and wanted to make a lot of silly sentences. I, however, would have preferred more choice: there a lot of "noun" cards but only 4 different verbs (ate, saw, climbed, jumped) which means that after a little while all sentences are alike...

CalledMamaCalledMama: I really like this game. We bought it to add to our educational game collection. We like to have a game day every Friday as part of our homeschool. This is a great game for reinforcing parts of speech and helping kids learn to create stories.
My only constructive feedback is that there is one piece labeled “hero” with a picture of a sub sandwich. Although I’m familiar with what a hero sandwich is, I don’t think it’s relevant for the average 4-7 year old. I think it would have been better to put the word “sandwich” or replace the picture of the sandwich with a superhero. I’m just going to print out the word sandwich and tape it to the card. Otherwise this is a great game!

LH: I love games like these where kids are having fun and don't know they're learning. My 5 year old loves laughing over sentences he comes up with, and it's opened the door to talk about parts of speech and to work on reading short sentences. I like that the pieces won't fit unless the sentence makes sense grammatically, and I was impressed that there are so many words included. We've never run out of words to make more sentences. It's been a big hit and a nice addition to homeschool stations.

RubyRed: I'm helping with reading in a primary school with 8-year olds and I bought this as a fun activity. I wanted them to be able to participate rather than just having texts put infront of them - and it works! Even the poor readers quickly worked out how to make grammatically correct sentences, and because of the colour strips at the top of the cards, I was able to explain verbs, nouns etc. The pieces only fit together if they make sense - very cleverly designed. I started by putting the cards into their relevant groups (nouns, verbs etc) but now I just let the children rummage and see what they come up with. You wouldn't want to get this out too often as it is limited, but it certainly acts as a diversion.

WarmWaterFish: Las frases son un poco parecidas (...climbed, jumped...over....) pero a las niñas parece que les gustó. Se han reído mucho y están practicando la ortografía. Juegan a escribir la frase en un folio y hacer una ilustración loca. Se puede jugar solo o en pequeño grupo en plan dominó. Está muy bien de precio.

Dawn T: My kid has this game in her classroom. i wanted her to have more practice outside of class. It's a fun learning game. I wish there were a few more word options. I'm sure they keep it simple for beginning learners. But I find my kid wanting to add words. So we write them on paper and add them to the sentence line. But each piece is a puzzle piece connection, making the scrap paper additions look sloppy. So it would be nice if there were blank puzzle pieces that they could write in dry erase marker to make up their own words.
The game has a big selection of nouns, but needs more adjectives, verbs and adverbs. And blank puzzle pieces that can be inserted for learners custom words.

Amazon Customer: I first saw this while staying in a vacation rental home. We were a group of women (mostly grandmas) traveling on a Girl’s Trip. When we saw how neat this game was, we all ordered one for our grandchildren! As a retired early childhood teacher, I give this 5 stars!
