smcaheesmcahee: I bought this to use in a walk in shower, but the color didn’t quite match so I bought the gray one also, thinking I’d return this one. I like them so much I kept both! Was quick to assemble with eight included screws and a hex key.

Timothy Miyahara: I am disabled but prefer this bench to the more institutional, orthopedic, shower benches (which are mostly plastic). The handles at the side are very handy for grasping during the shower, or positioning the bench before the shower. After a month of use, there are no problems. I am very tall and large, almost 250 pounds, and I have found the bench to be very stable. Be sure to adjust the bench using the leveling feet on the bottom if the bench is at all wobbly. The seller make a big difference in the end product, and I purchased mine through DecoTeak. There was a problem due to shipping, but following the directions of an enclosed set of instructions, I sent off an email to the manufacturer who responded immediately and quickly made things right, pointing above and beyond expectations.

C. Miller: This is a first impression review because my bench just arrived today and the new shower where it will be used isn't even finished yet. But, I LOVE this bench! It is beautiful, sturdy and well-made, nice craftsmanship. The finish is so pretty. It went together easily and perfectly--all the holes are exactly where they need to be. It is very stable and doesn't wobble one bit when seated on it. Can't wait to see it in my new shower. This bench is from a small family run company that works with small factories in Indonesia. Their card says if you call you will talk directly to the owner. I haven't needed to call but I like the sound of that in this day and age when you're lucky if you can navigate a company's phone tree!

David BDavid B: Each individual piece is gorgeous. The tongue and groove woodwork is beautifully executed. Very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. I'd give it 5 starts except one hole was drilled too high so the shelf is a bit crooked and is now showing a minor stress crack. For this price I expected perfection. Still a wonderful addition to my shower.
