Amazon Customer: The product itself is fine except There is a film layer inside that makes noise when they step on it. Like a foil crinkling. My cats will not touch it. In fact they will no longer use any spot I put it on including their own bed! That feature may not bother others so in that respect it’s a good idea.

Patty Coonse: I just got this yesterday. The first thing I did when I got it, was to sit on it for awhile. I was curious to see if it actually got warm. I didn't really notice a lot of heat, but when I got up it did feel somewhat warm to the touch. I then put it on the couch where Spaz likes to sleep. When he came in he sniffed it for a minute then curled up on it and took a nap. When it was time for bed, I pulled it out from under him and took it to bed with us and put it in the spot where he usually sleeps. When he hopped up on the bed, he seemed happy to see it there, and proceeded to do the kneading thing on it and curled up and slept on it throughout the night. It's a good size , not too big but roomy enough for him to get comfortable.
Seems like this was a good choice. We are both happy with this purchase

2busymom: Both our cat and small dog enjoy this bed. It is very soft to the touch and does warm up when touched. It doesn't get hot, it quickly warms when the pets lay on it. I haven't had to clean it yet, except for using a sticky roller to lift off pet hair... which worked really well. It isn't super thick, I have it on a carpeted floor to make it more cushiony for our older dog.

Darlene: I bought this for my older cat because she likes to be warm. She also likes to sit on her window perch which gets chilly during the winter. I put this on her window perch and now she loves to sit there, even in the winter! It's very soft and cuddly and definitely does heat up when she is sitting on it - I even put my hand on the pad to see if it would warm up just from my hand and it did! I also love that it can be tossed in the washing machine. Easy care!
