Make your next gift one they'll remember with the AspireColor Alcohol Markers Set!June: When first buying, I was looking for a cheap alternative to copic markers. These for the most part do a good job. Something of note: They do not come with a brush nib, but a thin tip on one end, and a chisel on the other. Perhaps I didn't read the description well enough. The quality of the markers are pretty nice for the pricepoint, the only issue being that their blending capability not being as strong as I'd like. It is possible but you need to work at it. If you were planning on keeping the case/bag for storing them, I do not recommend. It's not very sturdy and it's difficult to put the markers back into it without hassle. I'd suggest having something else handy for that purpose.

Steve C: My son absolutely loved receiving these and is getting lots of use from them. A huge variety of colours contained in a very useful bag to keep them neat and tidy when finished.

Anastasiia MorozovaAnastasiia Morozova: The markers are very juicy, and yet you still can draw precise lines with either bullet or chisel nib. They are also very much blendable, and you can make a nice gradient or an even background with them. I also loved the color selection, especially the number of greys (would like to see even more of them in the future instead of some pinks, but it's just a personal preference). It's also worth mentioning that the fineliner is fine indeed, and a colorless blender does a decent job removing extra ink.
The only thing one may consider as disadvantage is the packaging: the bag is nice, but doesn't keep the markers in order.
For that purpose I highly recommend to insert some sheets of cardboard paper in it. In summary, I am not sure if these markers are okay for professional artists, but they are surely great for relaxed drawing after busy day at work.
One more thing. The Customer Service at AspireColor is wonderful. I had some problems with carrier company and reached AspireColor for help. It turned out that the problem had nothing to do with AspireColor, however Amy replied as soon as it was humanly possible and did everything she could to help.

sharon pankaysharon pankay: First set I've ever bought, had bought three copics awhile ago but never could justify the price so they never got used. I read the reviews about the holder not holding pens in any order. I like to be able to have things in some kind of order so I cut cardboard that is 2-3x thicker than a cereal box. 5 @ 5 3/8" x 9 1/8" and 1 @ 5 3/8" x 8 1/8" for the back one. This will work for me since I will leave on my desk and not take a lot out at a time (hopefully) I tried a plastic light grid that I bought at Menards but these are too big for that. I'm including a pic of the blending, I've only blended with alcohol markers twice so I'm a real novice but I had wanted to see something done with them before I bought them. Only neg was when using for this 1st project when pulling off cap it opened at wrong PT and tube flew out, that's the mark it made by the arrow, haven't seen anyone have this problem, if it happens again I'll crazy glue it shut! I did try to do it to another marker but couldn't so might of been a freak accident! So far well worth the money. They are not in any kind of order except to look pretty for pic!

Marge: I happened on this marker by pure accident. I am a loyal Copic user but my daughter was going to college and I wanted to treat her to alcohol markers to enjoy on rainy days. I reviewed many brands. There was one you tube video that compared this marker to another popular brand that has also been rated well. I could not tell the difference. This was very affordable (especially for a kid who doesn't necessarily take care of her things)...so why not? I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them out that they were nice and bright and they blended beautifully. I think I might buy myself some. I would enjoy them more if they were brush tip, but it really wasn't terrible to have the finer tip--which is not terribly thin. I really like that it has a carrying case, but wish there were dividers inside (but really--I'm not complaining because most markers don't come with a carrying case so I'll take it!) If you have them in plastic bins it really doesn't matter. My daughter has really been enjoying them. Two thumbs up.

Amazon Customer: Very happy to start out with Aspire Markers and receive 80 colors without "breaking-the-bank," since alcohol markers are a new area for me. Included a "colorless blending pen" as well as a "fine line pen." A nice bag to carry the markers in. Would be 5 stars, but I prefer to organize the markers by number/colors, so found a wooden marker holder by Stamp-N-Storage. Markers arrived in mint condition, nothing dry, blend well, and a good assortment of basic color tones with lighter/ darker variations of each.
