TheDireFolf: This printer is great, Artillery is exceptional at supplying support for when your printer starts doing stupid stuff, even if they are Chinese and live in a different timezone,

This printer has its flaws, and the one I really, Really hate with this printer, is that there isn't any Overcurrent protection on individual parts.
I told my printer to Home all Axes, which is supposed to leave the nozzle almost right up against the print bed, but sometimes the Touchscreen will cause the Homing action to go in reverse on the Z axis, crashing the gantry into the top of the printer. Not too big a problem just a little extra wear on your timing belts, but then I realised it magic smoked the touchscreen when it did that. I don't need to explain why that isn't good. However, if you discount that, and you use your 3D printer exclusively with Octoprint, or something similar in the liking, this 3D printer will be effectively a larger, and a far more plug-n-play Ender 3

Patrick LeBlancPatrick LeBlanc: The media could not be loaded.  This will be long, but it will be worth it. It is a journey of 9 months with this printer and the good and bad.
(mostly bad)

I am an experienced printer and use a Prusa and an Anycube Kobra, as well as an Anycube Photon 4k.

Out of the box set up: Very easy with instructions generally easy to follow.

First test prints: 3 tries on test prints to get one that was successful with leveling and extruder issues that were adjustable.

Next Prints: Did a couple of articulated prints to test the capabilities of the printer and had 2 successful out of 5.

First problem. With the test prints done I started a larger project. However, I immediately received an M999 error with now reference to what it was.. (it was a bad bltouch) The support team is in China so after finding how to reach them and sending a ticket in, it...

B.P: I'm on my second one now, nothing but problems. Both were purchased new.

Printer 1:
- Rear bed stop sensor hanging loose.
- foil protector underneath bed had holes/impact marks from the carriage assembly.
- 3-pin connectors cables scratched and bent past 90 degree, possibly damaged (still worked).
- Managed to get a level test and half a benchy before it threw bed thermal runaway no matter what I tried. Possibly related to point #2 above.
- Printer returned, on day 3 waiting for refund after Amazon received it.

Printer 2:
- No visible damage to bed this time.
- Z axis ribbon cable not tape/glued to the frame.
- PSU defaulted to 220v instead of 120v for North America (printer shipped from USA).
- No PTFE guide tube for loading filament, no extra in bag. At least it's cheap to order tubing because I sure as heck am not going to return the whole thing like support suggests.

Maybe give it a year or two for Artillery to get their act together because there aren't any other large format printers as fast and quiet as these and a reasonable price for home users. A shame really.

Danny Chen: This was excellent, and a huge upgrade over the ender 3 original that I had. I have been printing 24/7 since I got this printer and have gone through 2kg of PETG. Bed is very level, and interface is good. auto bed leveling is pretty good, I just have to do a live z axis tune during my brim. When printing PLA I don't have to do that, because I don't have to wrench it off the bed, and I can just rip the print off and immediately start printing again. Great buy.

E. Warnke: If you want a tool, get something else. If you want something to dork around with 8 hours a day then this turkey!

---

Hopefully I can get this working since it's been one issue after another, here are just a few of the highlights.

Out of the box it was missing parts for the filament holder. Opened a ticket yesterday and have not gotten a reply from the company besides the autoresponder.

Out of the box the cables were taped to the platform where the steppers needed to go, I totally crushed one of the connectors securing tha gantry, thankfully no damage was done.

There are no instructions on what the tensions for any of the belts should be.

Manual makes reference to files "on the USB drive" which do not exist.

Package does not include flat cutters, nozzle cleaner, or any filament to get you going. But wait, there's more!

Once you get it powered on you'll have to step through a very complex tramming process which will seem to shift even if you don't touch anything. Then presuming you were smart enough to pre-order filament you can attempt to print something.

Several prints failed immediately before I...
