Aline V.: Probably our realtor hated us, but we asked a bunch of questions… and we were aware of every move she was doing. This book helped us to get informed by the most important things. One of them: never buy the first house you see, and avoid contracting a friend as your realtor, it can be tricky.

Daniel C. Anderson: This was purchased for a daughter interested in buying a first home. I passed on a lot of information to her but likely went in one ear and out the other, just like I might have done at one time. Still, the topics I told her were important were well discussed in the book and I would advise any new purchaser to read it before buying or speaking with an agent. It is also a very good refresher course for anyone considering selling their home and/or purchasing another.

Tracy Duggan: I got this book to use to gather some ideas for social media tips. I wasn't really sure what all would be in here but it was full of things that gave me great ideas to share and to talk to my buyers about. It does have some dated information or I'd buy one for every homebuyer

Jacob Martin: Loved this book. The way that it is organized is fantastic. I tend to be a very harsh reviewer/critic, but this is one of the best non-fiction/textual books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Easy to understand, broken into chapters/sub-chapters well, examples and lists are very valuable and clear. Highlighted it up quite a bit since it was filled with such useful and actionable advice. ONLY critique is that it constantly pushes using a Real Estate Attorney. After reading elsewhere, I have learned that this is very uncommon in most states and that it is a wasted expense in 99% of cases. I think this may be a biased view since the author's husband is a Real Estate Attorney.

Joshua Peters: Not sure why this book was recommended for Canadian homebuyers when it only discusses the American market. As a Canadian there was too much information missing.
