Ms L.: This remote is supposed to be universal for Midea ACs but it didn't work at all for me. I tried it with the batteries that came with it (size AAA), then I switched to more expensive ones, but nothing worked. No paper instructions came with it as to how to program it to the AC, so I checked YouTube to see if perhaps someone put something on there for this particular remote, but nothing offered, except how to insert batteries, which I'd already done. So, to me, it's just no good at all. I wish I had returned it earlier, but since it got misplaced around here for a while, the return time has now expired, so I'm just going to toss this thing in the garbage.
