Lexie Lyons: The metal tubes came cracked and bent. The pink cloth is very delicate and can easily be ripped. I can’t seem to get a the vertical pols to connect to the plastic. I waited too long to assemble it and realized it’s flaws too late to return it. So I’m just going to throw it in the trash. Only get this for people you despise.

Quand on la reçoit, ça fait peur! Vraiment. Ça semble très douteux et de mauvaise qualité - puis on commence à l'assembler et, malheureusement, la patience n'est pas incluse dans la boîte... Tu montes une partie et l'autre se démanche à tout bout de champs... MAIS! Si tu persévères, une fois toutes les pièces installées - le tout se stabilise, prend son sens et de la rigidité ;) Donc, si vous faites cet achat, courage - elle vaut la peine malgré le casse-tête de l'assemblage!

Gigi: Do not buy as there is no guarantee of refund of shipping. They will make you ship it back to them at YOUR own cost. This is not a light or small product so it is expensive to ship back and they are only willing to refund up to $20 CAD.
Cannot say enough that you shouldn't buy this.

It's awful. When I opened it I was surprised this was $60 CAD and for me that's already a budget price and I wasn't expecting much.
It's lots of little metal pieces with NO instructions in the box (mine looked opened and then retaped, probably a return.
The mesh/paper pieces covering the metal is basically binder paper with a very thin later of laminate. I could basically rip it all apart by hand if I wanted to.
Terrible product. There are other budget options that are far more sturdy.

Sun YSun Y: Pros: Appearance. Good size. Budget friendly.
Cons: Overall weight is light. Potentially a hazard. Assembly requires reading.

Safety is a concern - see my picture. Depending on the age of your kid this may pose as a hazard and to help mitigate that without having to bold it against the wall we slid it behind the bed. We don't expect our kid to climb on that of that but you never know.

This storage cube is super light! It's nice and I wouldn't call it it fragile. I gave it a 3 star for sturdiness because as a whole it is not but the design of 4 bars across should hold up well if you put some books in there. The covers may break off over time and I'm not too sure what it is called but reminds me of those reusable bags. Time will only tell. At first I thought I may have overbent some parts but I realized why they made 4 little slots on the beam support. It actually makes it "flexible" to push into the beam since you most likely will secure one beam at a time. Good thinking!

Assembly. Well I thought I could do without it but it was confusing. I thought all pieces were identical and wrong. You cannot pick any configuration you want because...

PNWfam385PNWfam385: I really wanted to love this shelf, and while I do like it, there are some things that could use some improvement. I will say, this is by far the most tedious piece of furniture I've ever assembled, and I buy stuff from IKEA so that's saying something ! It might be easier with 2 people, it might not-- I guess that depends on your ability to communicate effectively and be patient. By myself it took a solid 1+ hours, and then more time after that in which I had to keep fixing it. The directions are fairly straight forward, there are just a lot of repeat steps/pieces and it's incredibly easy to overlook something as you're going. Once you get into the rhythm of it things start to move along, but the fabric that goes between the poles are not all created equal. The measurements are just a hair off on some of them which makes some of the dividers really taught and others have slack. This affects how they pull on the poles, causing some to pull inward. The end result is that the shelf looks crooked. The top cubby on my shelf looks like it's angled inward and no matter how much I pushed and pulled to make sure all the other poles are completely in their slots, the...

Alyssa R.Alyssa R.: I debated on giving this item 1 star many many many times while putting it together for over 2 hours. The instruction card they give you is a joke. So I had to take this thing apart so many times and basically figure it out on my own. It will be very secure if put together right. The poles will come out if done incorrectly is all I can tell you. After I finally got this thing put together, it does make a wonderful book shelf and why it got 4 stars. It’ll be 5 stars once they spend more time on a detailed instruction sheet. Would have saved me SO much time and made for a super frustrating experience. Make sure the center pieces are always in the middle and end pieces on the end. They look very similar but are not. The center pieces will have holes on both sides where as the side pieces do not.

When assembling, Lay these flat and insert the poles and mesh lining for keeping them extra secure. Best way I found after 3 times reassembling. I would know.

Also, be extremely gentle when sliding the poles into the mesh. It will tear easily which happened to me. Sucks! I just used those screwed up ones on the bottom.
