CHC: My 10 yr old grandson loved it.
It only came with pictures of things to make but he soon figured it out.
So many things we purchase only come with pictures and no instructions.
It was a good problem solving toy.
He enjoyed playing with it.

Conspicuous ConsumerConspicuous Consumer: Amended Review: Veatree reached out to me after my original review and offered a replacement set of the building blocks I wanted rather than the ones I purchased, despite the original error being mine. They did not ask me to change my review but I felt it was important to emphasize the excellent customer service this company provides.

Original Review: I bought my first set of these in 6/21. They are one of my grandson's favorite toys so I decided to order him a second set. I thought these were identical to the first set (see photo, highlight is mine). I knew that they looked longer is some of the photos but thought this particular set was for the shorter ones.

Unfortunately, the rods are 1.25" longer than the first set which definitely effects their construction. My grandson says he can't build pyramids with these new longer rods.

It is possible that the more expensive sets that do not say 2.28" are the shorter ones.

Baber Pervez: My kid had lots of fun making stick figures with these. Daddy enjoyed just playing with the power of magnets to push and pull. Lots of kinetic fun. Shame the price has increased though otherwise I would buy more of these.

AmazonCustomer: Didn't review the size of these prior to purchase because I didn't want to miss out on the sale. They are smaller than expected. Supervision needed for younger children as there is a potential for choking, especially the steelies. Notwithstanding, this is a terrific 150 piece set that comes with a nice storage pouch at decent price point of $15. The magnets sticks are surprisingly strong. The steelies are not magnetic. Excellent opportunity to teach about magnetism and be creative. We've used these in conjunction with magnetic tiles. As for durability, time will tell, but they seem to be built to last. Again, I'd recommend supervision due to their small size. Overall, happy with purchase. Would buy again. Stay safe. Peace.
